March Madness is here! While the Hoyas missed out on the NCAA Tournament for the first time in five years, they are still alive in the "other" tournament, the NIT. In the meantime, we have some great events for you in March and April!

It's time for our annual Hoyas Give Baxa Volunteer Community Service Event! This year we will be having it at SF-Marin Food Bank, where we will help with sorting and re-packaging food that will be delivered to people suffering from food insecurity in Marin and San Francisco. The Georgetown City Challenge is back! It is an annual campaign to promote alumni giving to Georgetown and foster charitable competition between eight of Georgetown's biggest regional markets. We will give more information on the actual Challenge next week, but for now, mark your calendars for Tuesday, April 8, as we will be hosting a Happy Hour at Hoya-owned Lightning Tavern for the event. Ben Bleiman (C'03) will offer complimentary appetizers, and we will have the entire back patio to ourselves to mix and mingle with local alumni. So please RSVP here, and we'll send out more information about the City Challenge itself next week!
