Membership Drive 2013
Did you know that the Georgetown Club of Northern California receives no financial support from the University? We rely the generosity of people like you to offer social, professional and cultural programming throughout the year to Georgetown alumni, family, and friends in the Bay Area. We hope you have enjoyed our events such as the annual New Year's Party, Giants/A's games and tailgates, the New Student Sendoff BBQ, happy hours, game watches, special speaker events, volunteer opportunities and networking events.

Your attendance and participation are what make this Club a great outlet for Hoya spirit and we hope to continue providing these services for you. In order to best meet your interests, we are reaching out to see if you would like to become a Dues Paying Member (or Benefactor) of the Club. A small annual fee of $30 (or $90 for a Benefactor) grants you discounted tickets to our events throughout the year and priority for events in high demand (such as the Giants game and tailgate in July). Additionally, your contribution would allow the Club to make our operations more efficient and give you an overall better alumni experience.

To become a Dues-Paying Member of the Club, please use our new automated online form here. Please note that if you graduated within the last two years, your membership is free! However, we ask that you please still register with us so you have all the benefits of being a member. If you have any questions about club membership or current status, please e-mail us at norcalhoyas@gmail.com.

Want to Get Involved? Two new board position openings: Membership Chair and Communications Chair
To better serve our constituents, we have decided to add two new positions to our team of Board Members this summer: Membership Chair and Communications Chair. The position descriptions are posted on our website here. If you're interested in either of these positions, or have an interest in otherwise getting involved in the Club, please send an e-mail to norcalhoyas@gmail.com with the position title in the subject line. Then, in the body, please tell us a little bit about yourself, including the year and school you graduated from Georgetown, how long you've been living in the Bay Area, and why you want the position. Thanks!

Young Alumni Survey - win a free iPad mini (June 1 deadline)
In another effort to better serve you, we'd love to hear the unique perspectives of our young alumni. We want to hear how Georgetown has impacted you, and how you'd like to see Georgetown represented in the Bay Area. Just fill out this five-minute survey. All Hoyas who respond will be entered to win a free iPad mini! The survey will close this Friday, June 1.

ZogSports SF - Dodgeball, Football, Soccer and Volleyball summer leagues in the Marina! (June 12 deadline)

ZogSports has announced their summer sports, and we'd love to get some Georgetown alumni out there to play! They're a charity focused co-ed recreational sports league that also organizes happy hours after every game. To play in one of their dodgeball, football, soccer, or voleyball leagues, all you have to do is register at www.ZogSports.com/SF. When you register, put "Georgetown alumni" in the comments box, and they'll make sure you're put on the same team with fellow alumni. If you want to sign up with friends/significant others, just write in their name and e-mail address when you register.

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the General Manager, Nick Cruit, at Nick@ZogSportsSF.com. If you end up joining a Georgetown team, please e-mail us at norcalhoyas@gmail.com to let us know!
