Details: The Hoyas tip off against Kansas in the first round of the Maui Invitational on Monday night at 8:50pm. Come join us for a Pre-Game Hoya Happy Hour at The Brickyard. We will have our own room (The Bridge Room), bartender, and specials - $3 domestic beer bottles, and $5 happy hour wines (1 red, 1 white). Plus, there will be 2 Flat Screen TV's that will have the Monday Night Football game on. Then, at 8pm, we will make the short walk to The Bus Stop to watch the game! Hope to see you there, GO HOYAS!

NorCal Hoyas at SF Food Bank Video

On January 22, a couple of dozen Hoyas were on hand to help out at the SF Food Bank. Ken Fisher of Truth Be Told, a brand and filmmaking shop here in the Bay Area, was on hand to document this event. Ken graduated GU in 2001 and has been following his passion for film, consumer insights and doing good. Enjoy!

Please join us for a special game watch at the Bus Stop in San Francisco. The Villanova Bay Area Alumni club will be joining us and the Bus Stop will be donating $1 for every drink purchased during the game to the Matthew J Morahan III '01 Endowed Scholarship Fund for Georgetown University.

We'll have everything you need to get you Saturday off to a tremendous start: a raffle, drink specials (yum Bloody Marys), and a bunch of sorry 'Nova fans. Join us to cheer on the Hoyas and help a great Georgetown-related cause.

Men's Hoops NCAA First Round Game Watch - this Friday, March 18 at 6:50 p.m. at the Bus Stop

The Georgetown Men's basketball team will open the 2011 NCAA tournament as the #6 seed in the Southwest Region, earning the school its 27th NCAA appearance and 38th post-season bid overall.

The Hoyas will play in Chicago Thursday against #11 seed "play-in" game winner of either VCU or USC. Game time is 6:50 p.m. Senior point guard Chris Wright will be back for the game after having surgery to repair his broken left (non-shooting) hand. For more information on the game, check out

July 29 | Oakland A's Game (Tailgate + Fireworks)

1. Tailgate will take place in the southeastern part of Lot A, near gate A (see image)
2. Leave your sweaters and the fog in SF, get yourself to Oakland for this. Bring your friends and family.

Join us Friday July 29 to watch the Oakland A's take on the Minnesota Twins (7:05 start).

Bring the kids and family to the pre-game tailgate, say hello to your fellow Hoyas, watch the game from the 100 level (we've pre-reserved a block of seats) and then stick around for the post-game fireworks.

Tickets are only available online (through link below) and will be distributed before the game.

What: Come enjoy a Hoya Happy Hour with Guest Speaker Georgetown Professor Catherine Tinsley: "why is it so difficult to make a decision?".

Professor Tinsley’s research focuses on decision biases, particularly under conditions of risk and uncertainty. The article, Researching Risky Business - What managers, astronauts, and hurricane survivors alike can learn from near-misses, from the MSB Magazine highlights some of her interesting work into the reasoning behind decision-making.
