Serving lunches at Glide Memorial Church - 330 Ellis at the corner of Ellis & Taylor, San Francisco

Please join us to volunteer to help out those less fortunate. We'll be preparing meals and handing them to clients; those manning the floor will collect trays, refill beverage pitchers, hand out condiments and wipe down tables. Most importantly, our group will serve as a friendly and warm presence for the clients. The work is simple, but the value is far greater!

Afterwords, we will migrate to the Daily Grill for brunch and a little time to socialize.

The people at Glide are counting on the Georgetown community to assist on this day, so please RSVP to this event only if you can commit to attending. Please
RSVP with Rose to let her know you'll be attending.

Volunteer Event | San Francisco School

Saturday, May 9th, 8:30am to noon, with brunch to follow.
Painting / Gardening at the San Francisco School

We hope to have 10-20 volunteers to assist in either internal painting or gardening. A light breakfast will be served (croissants and pastries donated by a school family who owns a bakery).

The School is committed to ethnic and cultural diversity, with almost 50% students of color. Family economic diversity is achieved through a moderate tuition, the school’s location in a modest neighborhood, and a strong indexed tuition program which supports 30% of students on reduced tuition.

Given this emphasis, funds for such work is limited and the efforts of Georgetown alumni will make a huge difference in brightening up the school. Please RSVP with Rose if you plan on helping out.
