Cultivate your Network before you need it! Formal and informal networks are critical to career success. They provide access to information, informal knowledge, and connections to opportunities. However, not everyone is equally adept at building their personal networks. Moreover, research shows that women’s organizational networks tend to be more sparse and marginalized than those of men.
